This means that you ARE NOT getting generic farmacia on line online that you can definitely make out some" jellyvision" effect that's typical of CMOS sensors.

Question about port forwarding. Did you have any luck getting this setup. For example I want to forward the public (WAN IP) to one of the DMZ servers. for example.

10.10.10.10:22 forward to 192.168.1.23:22

I'm having trouble and can't figure out the port triggering.
Thanks

Hi.. Good article (esp. part 2). I too have recently acquired a SA520W (includes wifi). Interestingly, my network design looks quite similar in terms of the networks/isolation via VLAN. While I have good bit of it configured (vlans, wifi), I am not properly able to get two things working:
1) WAN to DMZ connecitivity: Firewall is set to allow ports 80,443, 25 and forward it to a host on the DMZ network; however, network scanner shows only 443 to be open. And that 443 is actually the https server on the SA520 itself and not the host that is serving all of the above services
2) LAN to DMZ connectivity: Firewall is configured to allow full/unrestricted access to the DMZ network. However, I am not able to ping or access any services hosted on the dmz machines
3) SSL VPN, although configured, doesn't work. I am able to IPSec into the private network, however.

Another things, I've noticed that it takes almost 10 minutes for the SA520 to come up to the point where the client machines get get ip address from the device and connect to the internet. Wondering why it takes soo soo long for the device to fully boot up.

Your ideas/suggestion and experience w/ the appliances would be much appreciated.

Take a look at part 2, I tweaked the network design to offer better scalability and to make the naming scheme more intuitive.
